Organic dresses need not be dowdy and boring, these stunning creations by designer label Gypsy 05 have a celebrity following which includes Heroes star Hayden Panettiere and Lauren Conrad of Laguna Beach fame.
Gypsy 05 was founded early in 2005, hence the 05, by dynamic siblings Dotan Shoham and his sister Osi. Originally from Israel, this sister and brother mastered their trades many thousands of miles apart. When Dotan lived in Los Angeles he rose to the top in the garment dye industry, in the meantime Osi was in Israel making headway in the advertising business. Some years afterwards, Osi joined her brother on the west coast of America where she set about working alongside Dotan at his Dye House, Pacific Blue Inc, which is famous in the fashion business for its innovative techniques and fresh colour.
After analysing the industry closely for years, the duo observed the demand for genuinely incomparable apparel in the modern-day clothing market and with Dotan’s experience as a garment dye and print business proprietor, they had a competitive advantage which could easily contribute in bringing Osi’s creative visions to life and thus Gypsy 05 was conceived.
